La Caixa convenes the entrepreneurial AWARD XXI in two categories of participation:
– Undertakings (companies from 0 to 2 years). Prize of €5,000 and assistance to the acceleration course Ignite Fast Track, taught by the University of Cambridge. Registration deadline ends April 10, 2004 (http://premios2014.emprendedorxxi.es/es/)
– Grow (companies from 2 to 7 years). Registrations in the month of September 2014
Access to the base
The competition is aimed at companies with a high component of innovation, understanding this innovation in a broad sense (product, processes, business model….
Companies constituted as a profit-making legal entity (S.A., S.L., labor societies, cooperatives, civil societies) can participate in the competition, which fulfil the following formal requirements:
Be constituted, with fiscal domicile in Spain, in the autonomous community in which they are presented
Have started its activity as of January 1, 2012. However, companies less than two years old that as of December 31, 2013 have invoiced or obtained rounds of investment for a value equal to or greater than €500,000 will compete in the category grows.
The award is aimed at microenterprises and SMES. There are, therefore, excluded the autonomous and the companies considered as large according to the European Commission (which occupy more than 250 workers and that billed more than 50 million euros per year or its annual balance sheet exceeds 43 million euros) , or which more than 25 of its capital is held by one or more companies considered as large according to the previous definition.
The founding partners must lead the company and work primarily on it.
